LG's First 27-Inch OLED Gaming Monitor

Until now, LG hasn't made an OLED gaming monitor. Now, it's coming out with its first 27-inch model. It's a good choice for gamers who want a high-end monitor that can handle all their game play. And it's also a great looking monitor, with a minimalist design and RGB LEDs.

Minimalist design

Previously we have seen LG unveiling its first 32-inch OLED display and now the company has unveiled its first 27-inch OLED gaming monitor. It is the LG UltraGear OLED Gaming Monitor, and it's got some impressive specifications. It has a 2560x1440 resolution, ninety-five percent DCI-P3 coverage, and a 240Hz refresh rate. The monitor also has an anti-glare coating and a 0.3-millisecond response time.

LG hasn't revealed exactly when the LG UltraGear 27-inch OLED gaming monitor will be available, but it will likely be sometime in the second half of 2023. It may be a while before it's on the shelves, but if you're interested in a new gaming monitor, you can get a taste of the LG UltraGear OLED Gaming Monitor at the LG website.

While the LG UltraGear OLED Gaming Monitor isn't the first flat OLED gaming monitor on the market, it's definitely the best. That's not to say that curved displays have no place in the market. They do, but it's hard to justify the cost of a curved OLED display when you can get an LED one for the same price.

240Hz panel

Earlier this year, LG Electronics unveiled the UltraGear 240Hz Curved OLED Gaming Monitor. Now, it has introduced a 27-inch version with the same 240Hz panel.

The LG UltraGear 27GR95QE sports a 27-inch QHD (2,560 x 1,440) OLED panel, as well as a pixel-level color control and anti-glare coating. It also has a fast response time, which it claims is "super-fast." The monitor also supports Nvidia G-Sync, which is normally only found in high-end monitors.

The 27-inch OLED display is not the only one on the market. Aside from LG, there are two other 32-inch models with the same panel: the ViewSonic VP32-OLED and the MSI Project 491C.

According to the company's product page, the LG 27GR95QE features a 240Hz refresh rate, pixel-level color control, and a super-fast response time. It also supports NVIDIA G-Sync, and has a "G-Sync Compatible" label on the box.

The OLED panel is reportedly certified by TUV Rheinland, as well as UL Solutions. The 27-inch model has an anti-glare panel, which is said to offer a picture quality better than a standard LCD panel.

Angular stand

Earlier this year, LG launched its UltraGear series of gaming monitors with an all new design language and a host of gaming features. They feature a 240Hz refresh rate and sleek angular stands that help to create an immersive, gaming experience. The monitors are designed for gamers, but they also have a four-pole headphone jack for those who wish to use headphones during their gaming sessions.

In addition to a fast response time, the LG UltraGear collection also offers lightning-fast color response times and high resolution. These monitors also have new Hexagon lighting, an overclocked 240Hz refresh rate, and HDMI 2.1 connectivity, which allows for quick 4K gaming with the latest consoles.

The company has also announced a new gaming pad that will be released later this year. It will have a reversible design with RGB lighting, and it will be large enough to accommodate a keyboard and mouse.

The LG UltraGear gaming monitors also have a user-friendly remote. The monitors also include a 4-pole headphone jack, as well as HDMI 2.1 ports, VESA Adaptive Sync, and AMD FreeSync Premium.

RGB LEDs

During CES, LG announced the first 27-inch OLED gaming monitor with RGB LEDs. The monitor is designed to be compatible with Nvidia G-Sync and AMD FreeSync Premium. It also features a HDR10 certification. The monitor's panel features a 240Hz refresh rate. It has two HDMI ports. It has a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The LG 27GR95QE monitor is priced at US$1,000. It's available for preorder on December 12. LG will ship the monitor on December 28. It will have an anti-glare coating, a matte finish and full ergonomic support. It comes with a black stabilizer, a USB Type-B upstream port and True Color Pro.

The monitor features a 240Hz refresh rate and is compatible with HDR10. It has a 100-percent Adobe RGB coverage and 10-bit color bit depth. It also supports HDMI 2.1 Forum VRR. The monitor has a pixel density of 110.8 pixels per inch. It offers a 1.5M:1 contrast ratio and has a 0.03ms gray-to-gray response time.
